A friend told my wife that Quinn hid in his house for a time because he was afraid the church hit squad was going to kill him. She said she read this in a book. Has anyone heard about this? Any truth to this (the part about Quinn's fear, not the hit squad)?
BTW- she said he must have been mentally insane because of this. I guess she forgot to read about MMM...

I think its a garbled version of him worried that people were keeping tabs on him. He has mentioned this in an essay somewhere.

Oh come on zee, it seems that you and your wife are fishing for these kind of rumors. I am sure that you are just a tad disappointed that it isn't true. I am sure that your friend is misinformed about most things LDS. She seems to be fishing in antimormon waters too.

Having met zeezrom in person, I got a great chuckle from this knuckleheaded post.
Zeezrom isn't the type of person to go "fishing" for rumors. Clearly he is the type of person who seeks out the truth when he hears one.
