And here I thought the members of this board had gotten away from their perverted interest in my sexual habits. Sigh.

Excellent response.

Damn it, B23, you just gave DCP another sig line.

I'm sure Dr. Peterson knows I'm joking. Probably. Maybe. ...

No, perversion persists, rampantly. I would like to see The Nehor bring his rather unique perspective to my thread entitled How does mankind's sexual frustrations serve god's purposes? I think that a thoughtful post from The Nehor to that subject could be instructive.

I wonder if Dr. Peterson is calling his lawyer acquaintances right now to see if he can sue.

I'm setting up my team of lawyers in defense. Everybody Wang Chung. Gramps. Sockpuppet. And the ghost of Daniel Webster!

A dream team that even Bob Shapiro is not skilled enough to assemble.

We relate in the surreal of internet, TV, Movies, with shocking shallowness. If you never experienced rural life where every man knew his neighbor and all the village pulled together and rejoiced together and worked together you hardly have a clue what humanity is suppose to be about.

We walk down busy sidewalks shrouded in a plastic cage of anxious indifference and cold-heartedness. Religion is a farce of feigned community for the most part. It is almost as if we all remain in our homes and send out a clone of ourselves to relate because our minds an held in virtual reality.

Then we can talk about the real evil. Come on. Better informed and more socially and politically liberal. This is righteousness of the BORG.

I'm sorry but I've experienced rural life, lived on a farm, etc, and the bold portion was not reality for me. Rural people, if possible, are more narrow-minded than urban dwellers. No grudge exists like the one between two farmers. And honesty? Shoot rural people are just as fluent in the art of lying, theft, and cruelty as those city dwellers they often describe as morally bankrupt. It's not like Mayberry, at least in my fifteen years of living in a rural area. Perhaps if you can find an Amish or Mennonite settlement you'll find an iconic barn raising, but not in mainstream rural society.

Yep.

I would like to see The Nehor bring his rather unique perspective to my thread entitled How does mankind's sexual frustrations serve god's purposes?

I glanced at the OP in that thread. I decided it would almost certainly just go downhill from there. I got my fair share of middle school 'wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more' discussions of sex back in middle school. If you didn't feel free to let it all out in that thread if it helps. Just don't expect me to participate.

I think that a thoughtful post from The Nehor to that subject could be instructive.

I once encountered a thread that claimed that Joseph Smith was a reptilian Jew from Beta Centauri bent on world domination. I laughed and realized it would be impossible to give a thoughtful reply to this post; that it would be like trying to argue logically with the creatures in Alice's Wonderland.

Your post would be even more impossible to give an intelligent reply to so I will leave you to it.

The only interesting thing about these sexual posts is I can never figure out whether the critics hate Joseph or are envious of him. It comes across as locker-room talk bad-mouthing the guy who seems to have it all. Maybe this is why critics seem to have such a personal hatred of Joseph?

That might be worth a thread.

I was harking back to bygone days. And a few Stake Farm assignments thinning the beets with my neighbors.
