Judging by the qualifications it looks like you have to be christain to apply to be a counselor. If I was Mormon I would have not applied because I would know Methodists do not view me as christain and it is there right to deny me. It sad I know but I would have known I would have been rejected before I even apply.

You may be right about this.
On the other hand, our daughter has been treated civilly and respectfully during her many visits to this camp, even though her religious affiliation is widely known.
She has grown up liking the older counsellors at camp and knowing this opportunity was "available" to her when she went into high school.
She wanted to apply.
I suppose I could have tried to dissuade her, using some pretext, but chose not to.
She had also been encouraged by the lower level leadership to apply, so I thought she might well be accepted, in spite of her cult membership.
