Nemesis speaks (albeit in mangled English)

Wow it really amazes me the arrogance of the posters and MDB whose creator [in real life information deleted] approves of and defends with such fervor. They some how have convinced themselves we have caused them to attack posters that do not post on their board or have anything to do with them. Their new attacks are creating a t-shirt line as shown by MsJack the defender of all women against "misogyny" as long as the her target just so happens to be someone she disagrees with. She keeps stating how we started the misogyny here while we have had nothing to do with it nor would we excuse it, but hey confirmation bias is OK when you can't take responsibility for your own behavior and whats posted on [name deleted] board. We didn't start anything all we have done is stop ignoring them and are now documenting their actions with links to their board as proof.

Yes, Nemesis, document the abuse of T-shirts!!! Go boy, go boy, go boy!
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

Wow, he really wants the board war to start up again. Now if only he could put as much energy into his ESL classes.

I always get a chuckle when a Mormon proponent tries to use the term "confirmation bias." :D

Nemesis does realize that this is a joke right? I hope Nemesis knows that there are no t-shirts for sale and that there is no Cassius University bookstore.

This was a joke, Nemesis. However, after seeing MsJack's hilarious t-shirts, I just might order a couple of those myself. I will also send you and Juliann a couple for you to wear at the upcoming FAIR Conference. I know I will be wearing mine.

Hi Nemesis,

Since you continue to post over at MDDB in threads where you will not allow anyone else to reply (nice "dialogue," by the way), my only choices are to reply to you here or on my blog. Since my blog readers aren't familiar with your nonsensical war, I'll keep it here.

You said:

Nemesis wrote:Their new attacks are creating a t-shirt line as shown by MsJack the defender of all women against "misogyny" as long as the her target just so happens to be someone she disagrees with.

There is no "their." I acted alone in creating the humorous t-shirt images that I posted earlier in this thread. I posted them for fun, and because I think your attacks on this forum are more than a little silly and somewhat hypocritical.

You say that I'm someone who only goes after misogyny when I see it in someone I "disagree with" (whatever that means).* I challenge you to show me where I've chosen to ignore misogyny from people I "agree with" (whatever that means). I feel that I've been pretty consistent in protesting misogyny wherever I've seen it, and that includes from evangelical leaders such as Mark Driscoll.

Nemesis wrote:She keeps stating how we started the misogyny here while we have had nothing to do with it nor would we excuse it

I never claimed that any misogyny started at MDDB. I do believe that you turned a blind eye to William's Schryver's antics as displayed on our forum, and I know for a fact that you censored and banned those who tried to bring it up on your forum (at least, those who brought it up and weren't named "juliann"). You banned consiglieri, RockSlider, and GiGi1975 for starting threads on William Schryver and what had happened with him here. You had the chance to let some attention come to what was going on over here and condemn it, but as Jack Sparrow would say, you waved at that moment as it passed you by. Why you're all of a sudden so eager to condemn misogyny that was directed at juliann on a site completely unrelated to MDDB or MDB, when you wouldn't let a word out about the behavior of a popular member of your site, is what my pink t-shirt parodied.

Nemesis wrote:but hey confirmation bias is OK when you can't take responsibility for your own behavior and whats posted on [name deleted] board

I take responsibility for anything and everything I have ever written on this forum. I do regret some of the things I've said here, but I accept it all as mine. It's why I make my real-life identity known in my signature line.

Yes. You're going to continue your "Neighborhood Watch" campaign, and the members of this forum are going to keep making fun of you for it. What's the problem?

No; he thinks this is real.

I hope Nemesis knows that there are no t-shirts for sale and that there is no Cassius University bookstore.

The important thing is that he wants to believe that it's all real, so he'll ignore what he knows if necessary.

Shades: I owe you my apologies. I hadn't noticed that Nemesis had used your real name in the portions I quoted.

I'll be more careful in the future. I'm sorry about that.

You're forgiven. In your case, it wasn't malicious in any way (unlike in Nemesis's case).

Hi there, Nemesis.

You know, back when much of the SeattleGhostWriter drama was unfolding, I bandied about the idea of adding Juliann to The Encyclopedia of Mopologetics. My thinking was that she'd more or less withdrawn from much of the fray, with very little posting, and seemingly little involvement in the whole game of Mopologetic warfare, and thus that she shouldn't make the cut. I'm still kind of on the fence about the whole thing, but your recent antics have suggested to me more than ever how crucial she is to the whole enterprise. Otherwise, why go so ballistic in an effort to defend her? To put things more simply: your new "forums" have made me rethink my position.

So I'll give you 48 hours to let me know how you feel about all of this. If you want to delete your entire "Neighborhood Watch" forum as a positive "bridge-building" gesture, then that's cool. If not, I'll take it as a sign that you agree that Sister Juliann belongs in the pantheon of Mopologists that make up the Encyclopedia. I'll be anxiously awaiting your response.
