My post to you awaits your response... Or do you believe that no one is allowed to criticize youn or your website, but you are allowed to criticize whatever you want?

Rich is ignoring you for good reason. As you painfully attempt to keep the lid tightly closed to prevent the truth from getting out, what information/opinion is presented is just an opposing view. It isn't "hate" as you emphatically imply, and the people who hold opposing views are not bigots as you assert. If you had answers to the questions asked of you, you'd answer the questions asked, but you don't, so you keep this childish rant going as if anyone on the planet agrees with you.

Rich, nice site. Thanks for the work you do in presenting the truth.

No, Rich just isn't man enough to take criticism. Sure, he can dish it out, but he runs away when it is handed back to him.

Oh well, another anti-Mormon bites the dust, I guess.

What you're offering isn't criticism, Simon, it's a rant consisting of one droning note. It's a note you've repeated over and over and over again. He's wise to ignore you. I doubt if you'll see him biting the dust anytime soon.

Rich, I actually have a few JW friends.
I have attended JW meetings.
I intend to attend JW meetings in the future.
I liked the "talks" I had heard, the ones before the meeting that has the readings. The readings aren't too bad, but are a little too "canned" for my thorough enjoyment and enlightenment. The talks were pretty good, using lots of Bible references. I am aware of major problems with JW doctrine; I can still appreciate my friends and enjoy some of their meetings. I am disgusted at Simon Belmont's continued use of the words "dupes" and "idiots" in connection with JWs. However, it gives a clue to the level of education he has had and therefore to his age. Knowing that, we can exercise some patience with him, as experienced, educated mentors would to an inexperienced, misinformed junior not yet capable of mature judgement.

JW services are mind numbing, I hate reading out of book/magazine paragraph by paragraph, then asking stupid questions that are obviously in said paragraph.

It seems his site has quotes from Watch Tower publications and he points out inconsistencies.

I understand and do not completely disagree. The few meetings I have attended, I like the one part because the talks were well presented, and at the time, I enjoyed a talk with a lot of direct connections to specific passage of "scripture". I, too, disliked the group reading. I would prefer a format where any question can be asked. There are few churches that accomodate that view, the Unitarian Universalist being about the only one I can think of, and even they have limitations as to what opinions are allowed to be expressed. I didn't see the questions as particularly stupid, just juvenile and simplistic. And boring. (Sigh. Sorry, JW friends.)

Buffalo, Morley, Valorius; did I miss anyone? Thanks for the posts in this thread.

Thews!

Along theses lines, I asked a respected Christian theologian/apologist to go through the Jehovah’s Witness article on my site to see if he thought there was any problems with it.

The man came back a week later and said, “The only way someone would have a problem with that article is if they have a problem with the Truth.” This man maintained the website for a Church I was attending; I was also ministering on the church’s worship team. The reason I asked him to evaluate the work is because an elder in the church saw that I had a JW article on my site and he demanded that my site be removed from the Churches links page because he said, “We cannot be known for being anti-Jehovah’s Witness.”

The man called a board meeting and a vote was taken and even though there was strong opposition from elders who were familiar with the work; it was the other men on the board who voted to remove the link.

The Elder then said to me, if you want the link back you need to lose that article.

So, I asked him,

“Did you read the article?”

His answer: “No.”

As far as being a member in that church, that was the beginning of the end for me; I had spent about 30 years researching the Jehovah’s Witnesses faith, and, at this time, this one article was my life’s work. The man condemned the work without even bothering to read it.

Here is a link to that JW article: http://richkelsey.org/JW%20ARTICLE.htm

I have found there is a price to pay for publishing the Truth! (can we draw any parallels here?)

If you haven’t read my articles on Mormonism please go to the site and read them.

So you asked an anti-JW if he thought there was anything wrong with your anti-JW articles?

Wow, Rich.
