Holiday Destination Question.

Post by _Imnotwashingmypirate »

Is there a place where you can go and be able to do all of the following activities:

Skiing, Picnic in igloos, sledging, spend time with huskys, build snowmen, go swimming and see the northern lights, but still have a nice place to stay for a honeymoon?

Is there something you'd like to tell me? :-)

Oh and by the way, I don't know why the Florida place isn't good enough. Swear, I give you my condo and you want to go some place cold! Who does that?

Good to see ya, Pirate.

I would imagine somewhere in Alaska or Canada for igloos, huskies, and the northern lights. Swimming would probably have to be indoors unless you look for a hot spring--something Iceland is more known for. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if Canada had some good hot springs with snow nearby, I just don't know of any offhand, and people generally only sit in hot springs instead of swimming in them. A cruise to Alaska might have more of those things as well.

So when would this honeymoon be?

Oh My Goodness, Jersey Girl, I thought you knew XD Jamie and I are engaged XD.
Florida is too warm :) We decided we wanted to have an adventurus start.

The wedding would be in summer 2013 which will be after we both have graduated and had time to save up a bit. So anytime after that I suppose.

Canada sounds fun. A lot of the packages that I looked at had some of the things I listed but not all.

You should check out Iceland, too, Pirate. It could be cheaper and while not having huskies will still show you the Northern Lights. Youc

Also, take a look at various Scandinavian destinations. Finland, maybe? Sweden and stay in the Ice Hotel?
(congratulations!)

No, I literally know nothing. Just ask some of our mutual friends, or at least one of them. ;-)

I'm glad you're doing it after graduation! Save up that money, girl!

If you don't need the condo, just let me know.
