Yes, that would defeat the niche market that Dr. Shades has created: One that is fair in its treatment of posters and is not focused on banning people till the board becomes meaninglessly bland. To that end, another LDS poster as you suggested would be great. Urges to be religiously partisan must be resisted for long term survival. Too much competition in those markets.

I have a lot of respect for Liz, and think she's been a fair (no pun intended) mod. But she's not a "TBM". Maybe that's what you meant. Recruit someone like Pahoran as a mod, and let's see the "objectivity" of Mormon Discussions go down the sewer. (In objections to his recruitment, in case I wasn't clear.)

I meant no polls for new LDS mods.
You have clearly demonstrated that you could not be trusted as a mod.

I think that Ren would be a great Mod. I had no idea he was interested. He is even-handed, and a very balanced poster. He also has solid computer skills. I think he would make a great Mod. I would love to have him on our team.

My first order of business would be to ban Joseph.

Which is why, Simon, as much as I love you, there is no way you would be a good Mod. :-)
We are looking for Mods with cool heads, and even temperaments, for the most part. Although I am guilty of blowing my top once in a while, I think that my moderation calls have been fair (no pun intended...LOL).
I would actually love to see either Abman or Nehor volunteer...but the key is...they have to volunteer. If they don't have the time available, then it is our loss, unfortunately.

Thanks Kish & Liz...! :)
I just mentioned to Shades that even if I don't post as much these days, I still lurk a lot.
So I felt like I should offer to help if I can...
Still not 100% sure about it, but if asked, I'd do my best...!

You're welcome, Renegade. I would like to see this happen. I think you would make a good moderator.
