"Vodka?!" Classic set-up and comic timing there, Zee. Nice!

Black bras and panties is a close second.

Willy, that is so great to hear. Indeed, we have also had many nights staying up late talking this past year. It is nice to have the freedom to discuss everything together. I wouldn't have understood this without actually going through the experience myself. Yeah, the women's underwear thing.... About that. The thing I find fascinating is that for the last decade and more, we could have experimented more with black underwear but we simply chose not too. There is no church rule against slipping into black underwear as often as desired but we simply did not do it that often. We were never completely sure where the line was so we tended to fall on the conservative side, which made for a lot of Joseph Jammie wearing episodes in the bedroom.

It's funny, Zee - your Sunday night get togethers sound a little like my visits home. Only my younger brother and I usually sit together talking about politics and whatnot until someone brings up something ridiculous. Then we just start asking questions.

It doesn't take long for the church conversations to move away from us where we can't hear.

It wasn't until after I left the church that I really began to see how much it dominates so many conversations in my family as well. I used to attribute it to my Dad being the type who always took on the general conference tone and demeanor when addressing us in a "fatherly" way. Now, I know that it makes up too much of who we were/are to be able to go very long without it coming up.

I'll have to see if next time when we head up that way to visit if I can convince my wife to let me throw the bike on the car. If so, I really look forward to it!

Zeezrom,

I thought I'd bump this up as a sort of, "This is your life!" moment. It's interesting to reflect on it as your journey continues.

I hope all is well.

Hey Honor!

I'm feeling the positive, pro-church vibes tonight!

Plus, I'm waiting for a critic to do just as Simon said: "Oh, not this again. [eye roll]"

Plus, I think it's time for the defenders to really show us their stuff. Where are you, defenders? Come to my threads! Drink with me!

Hello Mr. Z,

I find it odd that the gentleman was practically beating down your door and accosted your wife in order to get to you.

Hey Cam,

It's been quiet for the last month. The sister mishies stopped coming by and we don't get letters from the Primary Presidency inviting our kids to church anymore. Our hometeacher still comes by every other month to give us the message from the Ensign.

There are some family difficulties but time is helping.

It's like Nimrod said a while back: if you need to remove a band aid, do it quickly. It will hurt a lot at first but then the healing begins.

We might be moving far away. I think this might have something to do with people "giving up".

Is the move due to a possible job offer, Zee?

I really do think that a move would be great for you. I think that your situation is rather unique because you and your wife basically took this journey together, and you are both leaving the Church for the same reasons.

How did she make her final exit? How long did she teach the YW class before she finally left?

I would be curious to hear her story.

Hey Liz!

I'll ask Mrs. Zee to post here and tell her side of the story. That would be interesting for me to read too!

The move would be for my current employment. I work alone here in Utah and would rather be with the crew. The people I work with are so great. You know what's funny? They just hired a jack Mormon after me (I was their first Mormon) and they are in the process of hiring a TBM! What are the chances! Funny. So, my office will have representation from the entire range: apostate, jack, and True Blue.

Mrs. Zee is a strong woman. She would make an excellent pioneer. I hope she can tell her story because she has been through quite a lot!
