CFR, Rich.
Picture a man in his 70s trying to make his election sure by continuing in the élite Pioneer class. He has been doing this for 10 years.
What he is selling door to door is a lie. In a sense he is wasting his life by spending 60 hours per week proclaiming a false message.
You think it's a lie. He does not. So what? Let him live his religion however he wants to without you calling it a "lie" and telling him he is proclaiming a "false message." First of all, you don't
know it's a lie and a false message, and second of all why the hell do you think you are supposed to judge other religions?
Leave them and us alone, and proclaim your own message, Rich! My article on the Jehovah’s Witnesses ends with these words:
Words which further prove that you have no tolerance for people whose faiths happen to be different from yours. Words which further prove that you would rather waste
your own life attacking people and religions which you think waste other people's lives.
I know this might make me sound weak. However, I'm thinking of re-wording my header to make it less of a put off to some. "Wasted lives" could hit the cutting room floor. I see no need to keep the term.
If removing it meant that one more person would read an article that would be worth it to me. I may make more changes. I would hate it if these 15 pages of thread were a big waste of our time.
And "shattered dreams" is better? C'mon, Rich. Enough of this charade. I see right through you. You absolutely hate anything different from you.
