I have no idea. Since we are so intellectually superior, you would think that person would be easy to spot.

Indeed!

I wonder why I am having such a hard time identifying this third brilliant person? (Usually these people with deep reasoning skills are very easy to find)

Hmmmmm?

Perhaps it's an atheist/agnostic amongst us that is having some pause concerning his/her current belief-set?

Stop it! You're killing me! My stomach hurts and the tears are making it hard to see. One can only endure so much laughter!

Comic genius, I tell you! Genius!
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

:)

My friend, it is good and healthy (No matter what one believes) to laugh, laugh with, and laugh often. :)
You can endure much, much more.

As you most likely are aware (as I have offered this to you before), you are one of my favorite "believeing atheists" on this board.
Not because of your current "beliefs" :), but because I enjoy and admire the wit, strong positions/opinions, and perspectives that you willingly share with me/us.

Anyhooo, as I have enjoyed many times from you, I am pleased to return a laugh/smile your way.

Peace.,

ETA: The questions are from the original survey. Personally, I'm less interested in whether people think God had a hand in evolution or not than I am in whether people believe in a recent creationism or evolution.

If you'd define "American" I'd know whether I fall into that category - do you include Canucks and people from the United States of Mexico?

Probably the most important question and it's usually ignored by us all.

Yup. It's as if instead of saying 'food' people just said 'Big Mac', on the assumption that there was no other possible menu item.

Actually, no, it's a silly question.

Why is it silly to ask which deity we are talking about when a poll asks us whether 'God' with a capital 'G' did or did not do something?

Have all the (mono-/poly-/heno-) theists all got together and agreed that they are just talking about the same thing after all? I must have missed that.

I'm having a hard time picturing this fun-loving, sporty basketball girl being rude the way you are. C'mon, make us all think you really look like that!
Oh for shame, how the mortals put the blame on us gods, for they say evils come from us, but it is they, rather, who by their own recklessness win sorrow beyond what is given... Zeus (1178 BC)

The Holy Sacrament.
