Why do so many of you 'honest' types encourage theft of intellectual property?

You know simnon, cam and others have stated they will post copyrighted images without permission. So it seems you folks are the ones trying to get this place closed.

Joseph, I've got an idea - why don't you stop worrying about this. It seems the more *you* worry about this s***, the more restrictive this message board becomes.

He doesn't stop "worrying" about this because it's what he needs to do.

Personally, if enough people were calling me an asshole for doing the s*** you are doing, I'd cease and desist.

Joseph needs to do this because it is his only method with which to meet his passive aggressive-attention seeking needs.

Think about it. Just look at any number of threads that Joseph creates that totally tank. His threads (what one might call his "ideas") are of no interest to this community.

Harping on the issue of copyright/images is the one thing he's been successful at in gleaning responses of any kind. He's got the board by the you-know-what's and he loves it. Take a look at how many threads he's created about this one issue and how many threads the issue has spawned.

People only repeat behavior from which they profit.

In this case, the profit to Joseph is the attention he gets.

Another indication of his passive aggressive tactics can be seen in the posts he writes wherein he refers to posters not by their screen names, but as "semen" or "lez" and talks down (from behind the keyboard) to adults by addressing them as "boy", "girl" or "kid".

Passive aggressive is also why he avoids responding to Liz's repeated challenge to answer her questions or why he avoided answering Ray Agostini's request to publish some of the PM's he sent to people.

So yeah, clear as day, the guy has psyche issues and will continue to play jerk around games with Shades and the community at large so long as he profits from doing such things.

It's akin to getting one's narcissisitic supply.

But you have many on here who have stated they will deliberately post photos they know are coprighted and just look for problems.

No one said they would seek out copyrighted works and post them here.

I said I would seek out your brother's crappy photographs and post them here.

Because he needs to believe he's demonstrating that he's "above" the posters he is addressing and plays games with their screen names in order to do it.
