Some kids do some dumb (all kids do dumb things, so do many adults) things and get hurt and all we get here is snide remarks?

You're right, Jason. I'm sorry. I was being rather callous.

The article said nothing about how badly the students were hurt or how severe the burns were, but for some reason, at the time I made my post, I thought they were minor injuries.

In any case, please forgive me.

Actually, this is the kind of thing that I could see myself doing, even now. And I'm not a kid. And I've never gone to BYU.

On the other hand, thousands of kids are rejected from BYU every year... these few got in, because they are smarter than the rest, and the church needs their leadership, which is why the tithes are used to support them. So when they do something manifestly STUPID, and show the world how those same tithes were wasted on them... well, it pisses me off.

So no... I'm not sorry I'm snarky. They should have learned their lesson about fire long before this.

Good grief.

Dropping home made gas bombs into an abandoned coal mine was stupid and catching all of themselves on fire was regrettable. Should have been back on campus having a good soak instead.

For your consideration:

Do you ever try to do anything but dig up crap, and more crap on Mormons, on the most trivial things? I'm waiting for your next installment:

I guess I am not in the mood for snarkiness today.

And of course Shades will protect this anti-Mormon bastard so he/she can spread more petty and unjustified hate towards Mormons on this board.

Go ahead and ban me, but I promise this is not the last you will hear of me.

this is funny, why not go somewhere else more friendly, where the moderation is at time almost instant. where no one can one bad thing about the LDS Church. where Mormon dialogue is had in a highly regulated atmosphere.

For a lawyer, your punctuation and grammar suck. Are you "de-inviting" me? I fully expect to be banned anyway, as per Shades' paranoia about posting PMs, which way precedes his concern about image-terrorist Joseph, who will still be here long after I'm gone.
