While you guys are searching for solutions and wingching the attorney assures you there is nothnig to worry about in using the IP of others without permission... ask him if he guarantees it? To the extent he will pay all costs associated with any legal action as well as any Jugements that may result?

He/she/it is a lawyer telling you what you want to hear. It is not reality. See if this joker will put its money on the line.

I won't even bother reading Joseph's replies on this thread. He'll blather and yammer and natter and blow hot air, but who cares? He can't do what he seems to think he can do, so why even read what he posts?

Do you recognize that Joseph is a toothless tiger? Do you recognize that the worst he could do, IF he has a free lawyer, is to pull a SeattleGhostWriter? Didn't you say that you now know what to do should that occur again, so it won't be as much of a hassle?

I was looking online and reading about crazy things Mormons do I Googled "crazy Mormon practices" I read a few blogs and webpages and stumbled upon this site! Was reading some of the post and having a good laugh, some funny people on here and then I came across this Joseph.....

I must say sir, in all my years of being on the net(2400k modems anyone?) I have never seen someone act like such a d-bag and trying so hard to be a fake ass internet cop, your are pathetic sir.

I would say from an outside opinion, this turd needs to be flushed! He's harassing your posters and it looks bad from a new person's perspective I can only imagine what others think that don't post. Is he a Mormon nutcase? idk but my advice to the web-admin is get rid of this guy.....

Why do you care so much about what happens to others? in my opinion stay in your own bizz and stay out of others.

If he want's to post a pic let him, he's not making money off of it I would love to see a judge throw out any case where no money or publication for self-interest were used. Not to mention you'll never get the site shut down for it, its a waste of peoples time and of our judicial system resources.

Your all bark and no bite, your not the internet police, go about your bizz and worry about yourself....The link you provided was about a "COMPANY" not a person stealing pictures to promote their self-interest, posting an image on a forum dose not constitute the breaking of any laws or stealing of any intellectual property. Its just like any streaming site, if its free and you can't download it to make money off of its not breaking any laws I.E Pandora.

I don't care what sites you link or what blogs you post, I would go to court anyday with that defense.

Did you even read your own link and why it is not relevant? He was not pissed off due to them posting his picture. He was a little upset they were using it for advertising. This is a clear case in which they should be compensating the photographer, but that is not what made him mad. It was when he contacted them and they shot back with a threat claiming ownership of the picture and then legal action against him that got him upset. This whole situation is not even in the same universe of possibilities that could happen here, and as such has no relevancy to the discussion. I have noticed in this and another thread you seem to be getting a little desperate that your short time of having influence over shades may be coming to an end. :)
