Official Doctrine, In Spanish Only?

Post by _Aristotle Smith »

I invite one and all to take a look at the publisher of this Spanish version of Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith:

http://www.amazon.com/Ensenanzas-Del-Pr ... B001DUD04Y

Yep, it seems to be published by the LDS church. I heard this mentioned while I was watching an unrelated You Tube video (go to the 12 min mark or so). Since publication by the church press seems to be a mark of official doctrine for some posters around here I have a question:

Is this official doctrine and if so, is it official doctrine in Spanish only?

Maybe I'm not understanding your point, but it appears this is simply a Spanish translation of this book:

The difference is that the Spanish edition bears a church copyright and therefore falls under the current definition of "official doctrine." The English version is not published by the church.

Thanks Runtu, that's what I meant. I should have been more specific.

Okay, thanks. Interesting.

There should be an emergency exit:

You always should create an emergency exit. This is the keyword to survive.
