Vote for my sister in an Operatic "Idol" contest.

Post by _bcspace »

http://www.cincinnatiopera.org/about-us/opera-idol/

Here is a direct link for a ballot.

Set aside your differences with me and vote for my sister in this operatic "idol" performance. Her name is Heather Morrey. If you feel one of the other candidates has the better voice obviously you should perhaps vote for them but I am looking for support of course from you, my associates and friends in debate.

The link for a ballot is at the beginning of the article. You will be asked to provide your email address. I've used all my email addresses to vote and sometimes it's taken a day to get the ballot, sometimes a few hours. Today is the last day.

Please vote for Heather Morrey
Thanks for your consideration
Brian

Edit: My sister believes that a ballot ordered today will still be counted if sent in tomorrow so don't give up.

Thanks for that. by the way 'registration" means one only provides an email address. No other information is required.

I think based on views, she's currently in fourth but less than 200 from first place. Of course a view does not necessarily mean a vote as I've viewed them all myself but voted only for Heather Morrey. The first place (in views) girl had an article in her local hometown paper apparently so it's suprising Heather Morrey is this close.

Brian, I don't need to set aside our "differences" to vote for an amazing singer, which your sister clearly is. I admit that I occasionally get upset at your harsh attacks on my character, but then I figure you probably really do believe that about me. Either way, the feeling is not mutual. Peace, brother.

Not my kind of music - at all!!!

However, your sister does seem to perform well in her chosen genre. (Sorry if that sounds sniffy - it's really not intended to.)

Anyway, I've asked for a ballot and will vote for Heather when I get it.

What a magnificent talent. As soon as my ballot arrives, consider it done.

Ditto for me.

Done.

LOL! Okay, thanks. But looking at your posts recently, the attacks on your character seem more self-inflicted (and tongue-in-check) then anything else. ;)

I agree. I can't stand this type of music either. I prefer a singing voice free of vibrato. However, my mom is very good at it too and has done similar things in her life so it's not suprising my sister is dabbling in it and doing as well as my mom did. Either my mom or my sister will absolutely dominate the singing in any sacrament meeting.

What a magnificent talent. As soon as my ballot arrives, consider it done.

I will tell her what you said. Thanks to you for your vote and to everyone else.
