Mitt Romney is “not a Christian” and therefore he may not have a good chance of raising big money among Christians if Rick Perry runs for president, “Fox & Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt said Sunday.
The discussion on Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s possible run for the White House Sunday morning led Earhardt, Fox News correspondent and weekend co-host of the daily news analysis, to pronounce what many evangelicals and mainstream Christians believe: former Massachusetts Gov. Romney, a Mormon, is “obviously not a Christian.”

And it continues to show the intolerance of the fanatical religious right. Only a Bible thumping candidate that understands Jesus exactly like they think someone should is suitable for president. What they secretly wish for is a theocracy. And they worry about Mormons wanting to rule the government?
By they way Ainsley is wrong. Romney is a Christian, just not an orthodox Christian.
I love that there are "christians" that have no problem claiming that others who self-identify as "christians" are not actually "christians" because they aren't the same kind of "christians" that they are. How's that for a "christian" attitude?
If Jesus actually exists, who do you imagine are the first people he's going to f*ck over? It's got to be these nimrods who put restrictions on who can call himself a "christian", right?
Religious people... pfffft! So silly for so many reasons.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
The term is subjective and there is nothing like an objective Christian. When I state that Mormons are about as Christian as those who worship Mr. Potato Head Jesus, it is equally as true as when Mormons claim they are Christian. Bigotry has nothing to do with it.
1. Make Mormons Christians (and I have no objection to their claiming that descriptor)
also work:
2. To make FLDS Christians.
3. To make FLDS Mormons.
I'd like to see someone find a way to get the first one without having to let the next two in as well.
Zadok: I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis. Maksutov: That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.
