I knew I would be banned when I did the deed. It was purely intentional, a calculated move on my part. No suffering involved, I assure you.

Wait, did *everyone* else know this was a calculated move? Did I miss a major announcement, or do people around here just know that when Jersey Girl gets banned it is clearly something she meant to do because that is Jersey Girl's persona?

I don't "get" a lot of things. Comparatively, you are fixture of this community; I, a recent immigrant. Perhaps you assume that I know enough about your history and personality to detect subtleties in your messages that others do, I don't know. It seems a 'Newbies guide to Jersey Girl' would be in order.

Regardless, you are right, it is obvious that I don't "get" you. Would you care to share what it is that I don't get so that future interactions can be properly lubricated?

If you want to "get" me, you can read my posts. I am more than certain that you misunderstand where I'm coming from or what makes me "tick".

If you want to ask others about me, feel free. You could ask Blixa, Stak, Jason Bourne, Liz, Ray, harmony, truth dancer, or beastie anything you wish about me. Of course, they wouldn't disclose in real life, but you can ask them if they think being banned made me "suffer" or if I intentionally chose to do what I did. They know me well.

There are several comments by many of the above posters on the threads that discussed my being banned. You could read those.

Or you can ask me questions here yourself. Always better to ask than assume, I think.

Uh no she is not insane good doctor. Not one wit. Maybe because I know Jersey Girl well I understood why she did what she did. She did it to make a statement because she is not one to be pushed around by bullies like Joseph. And she can give back as good as she gets. LDST maybe that helps. Joseph tried to bully her and she made it public knowing she would get a week off the board. It was a statement.

So why would you say she is insane? Just because she has crossed swards with you perhaps when you have behaved oddly?

I'll be honest, having read your posts and interacted with you in chat, I've probably formed an impression of you that is incorrect (hey, it happens). Your OP states that your personal policy is to keep your conflicts on the board; it seems you and I have a minor conflict - I don't understand you, and this is the source of some friction.

Since the people I respect most around here love you, I think the right thing to do is learn more about where I've gone wrong in forming my impression of you.

I don't think I will be available to "scrimmage" as you say, but I can give it a go.

Family
Friendship
Children
Advocating for all of the above
Service to others


If I had to pick one trait or tendency, I'd have to say "service". So far as life goes, I'm in it for people especially those whose lives have been compromised in some way.

So, right now, I am providing 24/7 care for a family member who is recovering from surgery and that is why I may or may not be available.

Personality trait...hmm...the ability to dig in my heels. Others might call it tenacity. Still others might call it Pit Bull-like. Cam, on the other hand, would call it insanity.

Cause you know, I can so "take" him.
