Prayers for us in Norway.

Post by _Spurven Ten Sing »

Please send positive vibes up here for the families who lost someone on Utøya and in Oslo. We are very much in shock over here that these vicious attacks could happen.

I don't even know what to say to that. It's so awful on so many levels. Definitely Norway has been in my thoughts and prayers.

I remember when I once questioned why the world hated Americans, heck we are the good guys in white hats correct?

I knew from my son's mission in Norway, that many Muslims had immigrated to the country. I'm ashamed to admit that my first thoughts upon hearing this was to assume/accuse the immigrates of the violence in such a peaceful country. Once again, my myopic and indoctrinated world view leaves me new and shocking answers to the similar question, aren't the Christians the guys in white hats, aren't Christians the good guys?

I am very saddened by this news and my heart goes out to the people of Norway at this time. Damn religion.

What horrible, sad news to wake up to, from such a peaceful land. Spurven, my heart goes out to your land and I wish you and your family safety.

My prayers also. I have been busy, and have heard only minimal news of it.

I just interviewed at a Norwegian village on the east coast of Wisconsin, and I am sure they are also concerned and praying.
