So is raping as many females as possible.

For chimpanzees maybe. In the presence of firearms, abortion, and a functioning legal system, not necessarily.

But it's good to become re-acquainted with how your formidable intellect works Schmo.

If I don't want kids am I being selfish?

Yes.

Some people say that the biggest problem this world is facing is over population. Maybe the people that are having a ton of kids are the selfish ones.

It depends on how you raise them. But technically, there is no such thing as overpopulation of homo sapiens on the earth. For example, you can stack 5 billion people in a cubic half mile. There is plenty and to spare.

I do not think it's selfish to not want children. Many of the problems in the world occur because people end up having children they don't really want.

Having children is life-changing. It's true - in many ways, your life is no longer your own. It is very stressful at times. At other times, it's joyous. Through it all, you experience a totally different type of love when you have children. I don't think you can experience quite that same type of love in any other manner.

I'm not saying life can't be complete without children. I think it can. I'm saying that experiencing a certain type of love is probably unique to having children.

Look at that. That's two posts in a row now demonstrating your knowledge of evolutionary theory sucks, to say the least.

It's not that formidable, and yet I have no doubt it's way too much for someone like you.

But it's always fun to watch you attempt to assume intellectual superiority. Very entertaining.

It's my son's bday today. It's very fulfilling and enjoyable to observe them and take part in the excitement.

Am I the only one who heard the "Zero Population" song from Saturday's Warrior spin up?

Actually, I think we are going to have the opposite problem. I sat through a lecture a few years ago on birth rates around the world and the effects of demographics. It was eye opening. Most of Europe is going to be hosed in the next 10-20 years as they have such low birth rates, an ever expanding aged population all living off cradle to the grade socialism ($$$), with an ever decreasing population of workers to support them with their taxes. Its unsustainable. What was interestings, was the only thing keeping the United States out of the red ink demographically was mainly the explosion of illegal immigrants and their children.

How many workers does it take to support one person on SS?
