If you had read the article youwould know the answer. It was something personal and she didn't want it seen unless shown on purpose. People usually don't show their ass to the world...even in a swimsuit.

I'd say it started when DrW first piped up with some perceived dichotomy between those who can think and those who believe, as if believers can't think and are stupid. That was of course before anyone asked DrW anything. i think the type of dogmatism that I perceived, and it seems Dr. peterson perceives from critics is often seen as harmless, but when an LDS gives any inkling to something similar coming frm the blieving perspective, any offending LDS poster is jumped on. Its a curious thing for sure.

I am not sure you are correct. It was only when Dr W mentioned his wife reading some material DCP had written that he chimed in on the thread.

Stemelbow,

In general, I see you as a thoughtful and credible individual based on your posts here. However, in this case, Themis is right.

I have just re-read all of my posts on this thread and I can see nothing that would reasonably allow you to conclude that I "piped up with some perceived dichotomy between those who can think and those who believe, as if believers can't think and are stupid."

So, unless you can show me that I missed something, in the interest of personal integrity and civil dialogue perhaps you would be willing to acknowledge as much.

Drw,

Hey there. I've already mentioned your first post in this thread. Here's what you said: ""Shaken Faith Syndrome", "Lost Faith", and "Falling Away" are Mormon-speak terms. Casting off "Mormon speak" is an important step in casting off the fog of religion and exchanging it for the clarity of reason, logic and critical thinking."

Here you are creating a dichotomy between religion and "clarity of reason, logic and critical thinking". it seems silly and arrogant to assume that clarity of reason, logic and critical thinking are not in any way found in religion or among the religious. The tone seemed to be set after that was said.

I admit, i could be wrong. I haven't bought into Themis' position though.

Okay.

We clearly have a difference of opinion here, but fair enough.

Thank you.

Carry on.

how come I'm unable to view this pic?

I didn't initially link to it in the blog post, but my readers wrestled it out of me in the comments:
