If God's really omnipotent, It* should work on increasing that number. Maybe just use the old Jedi mind trick.

I approve of God. Just last night, I really wanted to rent a movie at Redbox but I couldn't find my car keys. After frantically searching for at least minutes, I knelt down and asked God for help. He immediately inspired me to look in a place I hadn't thought of before. Sure enough, there they were. The evening was saved.
I realize this process may not work for everyone, like Somalis dying from famine (http://globalspin.blogs.time.com/2011/0 ... ry-people/), but God really pulled through for me when the situation was dire (have you ever been forced to watch whatever happens to be on cable? Yeah, it's horrible).
As for the Samolis, I guess they can have hope that their starving is all part of God's plan too. After all, God works in mysterious ways.

Personally I'd like to see god pay less attention to special interests. He only seems to be concerned with those groups who can provide financial contribution to his campaign.

Personally I'd like God to stop listening to the prayers of Salt Lake City residents in need of more shopping facilities and start listening to the prayers of Somalians in need of food and water...

Republican Jesus killed Radical Rabbi Jesus a long time ago.
