The operative notion here seems to be that creeps such as I ask such questions out of the blue. The implied scenario seems to run along the following lines: "Ooooooh. She's hot. I think I'll ask whether she's ever committed sexual act X."

Which is, of course, complete rubbish.

I never said anything about an implied scenario. I do think it's sick and creepy that a man of your age was asking a girl about coitus interruptus in private though. Whether you got any sort of jollies out of it is your own cross to bear.

Whenever somebody came to me and said something like "My girlfriend and I messed up" and asked for the Church's take on it (e.g., "Can I get a temple recommend?"), I had to know pretty clearly what "messed up" meant, or I couldn't answer the question or discharge my duty. Vagueness wasn't sufficient.

Fault the system all you like. I don't agree with you; I don't expect that you'll agree with me. But, within the system, I did nothing wrong, and nothing unexpected. The notion that I'm some sort of leering, lecherous voyeur could not be further from the truth.

(And, for the record, I don't recall that I ever actually did ask anybody, male or female, about coitus interruptus, though I can think of one case where a couple brought it up to me.)

You can't blame the system. You're an adult and you've chosen to support this system.

I am 1 apostate. There are much better rationalizations than what I had.

Glad to hear it.

But still, you're rationalization about God wanting a 30+ year old man to have sex with a 13 year old still takes the cake for rationalizations.

My what now? Nope.

So let's not go down the path of rationalizations, because you're rationalizations to keep the faith are FAR more ridiculous than mine were to sin.

I don't doubt this is true as long as my "rationalizations" are defined as fictional constructs that come from your fertile imagination and are just imputed to me as your example is.

Same here. The notion that one could (consensually) lose it for any other reason was alien to me until I encountered this thread.

I agree - it's the LDS system that's perverted, not you.

I don't agree. You may or may not be perverted (I have no information about you by which to judge), but the "LDS system" is not.

You're both wrong. I am the one who's perverted.

Good call - it's better for me to say that you, DCP, may or may not be perverted, since I have no information about you by which to judge. Thanks for correcting me. I was too charitable.

And any system that has adult men taking young boys and girls into a private room and asking them what they do with their genitals is perverted.

Quite aberrant behavior on your part, from what I've seen.

Nice out-of-context caricature.

I assume that you oppose Planned Parenthood and the medical profession, too?
