Depends upon how well you know God.
Interesting that evolution is a faith based concept. It rivals God so I guess that makes some sense.
On the one hand is God whose intelligence is greater than all other intelligence combined. (I suppose.)
VS
Absolute Randomness
Hmm....sigh....hmm.....sigh
We know intelligence exists because we are.
How can we prove Absolute Randomness even exists?
Absolute randomness???? LOL Is that what you think Darwinism is about??
How long will you put up proofs that you don't know the first thing about evolutionary science or its more philosophical underpinnings. Post after post is a display of misunderstanding and simple mindedness.
Homework: Go find out why natural selection is not absolute randomness Hint: It is an algorithm that depends on (nonrandom) physical law.
when believers want to give their claims more weight, they dress these claims up in scientific terms. When believers want to belittle atheism or secular humanism, they call it a "religion". -Beastie

Not even close. Evolution is not a "faith based concept."
To the larger subject, Nightlion, I think it'd be fair for you to suggest that someone not critique God, or the Bible, or the Apocalrock until he has, at least, learned some of the fundamentals involved. I'd ask you to do the same for biology.

Oh, man. How many nannies can one man stand?
If I can explain God and The Apocalrock to the novice why have Evolutionaries been unable to put forth a single cogent thought that holds any power to prove a point? I can fly swat down everything you put up. What is it that the whole world agrees on? I suspect that something is off.
You all require that I submit before the fact. So it is not about the facts it is about the submission. That is cult-think. LOL
Evolution is religion because you accept a euphoric ideal believing that you are ridding yourself of God. Like fundi evangelicals accept Jesus only in their minds and suddenly have no worries. I am having way too much fun with this.

That cuts it. I don't do algorithms. No way Jack.
I know you are tweaking the heck out of this playing fast and loose with what you hope is me being stupid.
The physics can be stable and right as rain with whatever the heck an algorithm has got to do with it. Who wrote them? Mr Random? That is not what moves stuff from A to B. The elements would remain the same forever until?
Come on. Admit the random factor. What else ya got? If you are mapping random event using algorithms that predict a probability it means nothing but a shot in the dark.

For some reason, I'm not impressed by empty platitudes.

HINT: Nope!

I can tell you what will validate the glory of God. The baptism of fire that sanctifies this earth from all the abominations and wickedness that have polluted it.
I suppose that would validate your god. Since we have no reason to ever think such an event will take place we'll just have to recognize it's foretelling for what it is.
Nightlion wrote:And I suppose some time in the future you will be free to look down from a spirit world and behold the new earth and begin to repent from thinking you are the highest from of life in the universe.
How laughable. It is the believers in the god of the Bible that think that the whole point of the universe is their existence. It is they that need to "repent" of arrogance.

Most people who accept evolution do not believe that humans are the "highest form of life in the universe." Rather, all life is equally evolved and advanced simply because it survives.

Neither are they the dichotomy that Nightlion is attempting to make them into. The invalidation of god does not validate evolution and vice versa. Evolution does however have some evidence to back its precepts.

This is what I was poorly trying to communicate.
