You tell a rather sordid tale about John Dehlin personally. For you it is very relevant. For me, it is not as my interest in John Dehlin is not that he is some shining example of how to lead one's personal life. I see Dehlin as useful in bringing interviews of people with different perspectives on Mormonism, and helping people adjust as ex-mo's with as little PTMD as possible.

So you're cool with the overall impact of John's work, even if the foundation of that work is based upon lies and fabrication? Sounds familiar.

Dehlin's foundation does not claim, to my knowledge, its founding as being some pristine, perfect event that thereby gives it legitimacy for Dehlin to tell you how to conduct your life. That is, he has not established his own religion. So what is the fabricated basis of the foundation? What about the foundation's mission statement, or in its organizational documents, is not true? I'd be quite surprised if either includes a statement of Dehlin's infallibility.

1) John, did you ever express to anyone that you wanted to usher in a new "September Six" and that you intentionally agitated the church for this express purpose?

2) John, did you ever enter Rosebud's room at a Mormon Stories conference without her consent? Did you ever climb into bed with her without her consent? Did you ever touch her inappropriately without her consent?

3) John, did you ever lock out Rosebud and the Open Stories board of directors from the website and other Open Stories Foundation properties?

4) John, did you lie on your podcast about why you shut down the Mormon Stories conferences in 2012?

5) John, do you acknowedge that a sexual harassment lawsuit was filed against you and Open Stories Foundation, and was only dismissed because a technicality under New Hampshire state law?

6) John, why won't you release people like Amy Grubbs from their non-disclosure agreements?

7) John, have you ever smeared the names of your victims by calling them "crazy" when you, in fact, know that there are serious allegations against you?

8) John, do you think its appropriate for you to be speaking out publicly about abuse when you have a documented history of abuse?

As John likes to say, sunshine is the greatest disinfectant. If John has the truth, he wouldn't be afraid to directly answer these questions.

It's not even mildly interesting to you that one of the most prominent ex-Mormon figures stands accused of sexual harassment, abuse and lying about the foundation he created to help shepherd people out of Mormonism?

Like, you wouldn't read that story in the SL Tribune? I highly doubt that. Your feigned disinterest is telling.

I have asked him these questions. He lied to me. Then I saw the evidence.
