The new prophet needs to pack them into wagons and make them trek with handcarts to a new land. Then they can build up a city, get a revelation ending polygamy, mainstream, and become normal members of society while still bearing testimony that Warren Jeffs was a true prophet.

Doesn't the thought of Warren Jeffs being a sister-wife for the next 20 years seem rather cruel and unusual (well maybe not unusual for prisons and polygamist compounds).
Knowing such abuses are documented on tape, let us hope that Utah and Arizona with be less somnambulent in the future when it comes to such ritualized child abuse.
by the way, Jeffs was found guilty and will await trial on additional charges. This type of religious child abuse crime will continue unabated in Utah till the use of caffeinated drinks or a good wake up slap in the face from Texas is forthcoming. This would include the Elders of the Utah State Supreme Court not riding to the rescue of The Principle.

He sounds more like the leader of the snake sect on the original Conan the Barbarian than a leader of an LDS-oriented organization. I have no problem if he and his ADULT wives want to do threesomes, foursomes or whatever they want to do -- it is not like these things don't exist in the US culture anyway. The thing is, mixing Biblical teachings with some sort of Baal worship thing is just weird -- and when it involves a 12 year old it is just perverse.

I don't think he's gay, but he's probably an equal opportunity pedophile. In addition to raping 12 year old girls, there are allegations that he raped young boys as well.
