I didn't say that.

and I like your version much better.

My version fits the book as written.

Ahhhh, so you're one of the morons who took the simplistic view that Shiz and Coriantumr's elite bodyguards going at it to the end meant that everyone else in the nation was dead?

You mean like the morons who run the LDS church and publish
Book of Mormon Stories"?

Or you could just go to the chapter heading for Ether 15: "Millions of the Jaredites are slain in battle—Shiz and Coriantumr assemble all the people to mortal combat—The Spirit of the Lord ceases to strive with them—The Jaredite nation is utterly destroyed—Only Coriantumr remains." Yes, I suppose only a moron would read that and think that everyone died except Coriantumr. What could those morons be thinking? How ever did they get that impression? They must be simpletons of the variety who think that words actually mean things. If only they were brilliant mopologists who know that "horse" means "tapir" and "steel sword" means "obsidian club" and "east" means "north" and now, of course, "millions die" means "one bodyguard fights another bodyguard."

TN, it's wrong to speak evil of the Lord's anointed or to criticize the leaders of the church, even if the criticism is true (calling them "morons" is certainly both).

I find it more disturbing that you are trying to argue this based on a simplified book intended for Primary children.

Or you could just go to the chapter heading for Ether 15: "Millions of the Jaredites are slain in battle—Shiz and Coriantumr assemble all the people to mortal combat—The Spirit of the Lord ceases to strive with them—The Jaredite nation is utterly destroyed—Only Coriantumr remains."

Chapter headings not doctrine.

Yes, I suppose only a moron would read that and think that everyone died except Coriantumr.

They should read the text instead of a simplified summary to help you find stuff in the book.

What could those morons be thinking?

They probably left the Church like most morons.

How ever did they get that impression?

Not thinking it through probably.

They must be simpletons of the variety who think that words actually mean things.

So your argument is based on a children's book and a chapter summary? Original text use words that are too big for you?

If only they were brilliant mopologists who know that "horse" means "tapir" and "steel sword" means "obsidian club" and "east" means "north" and now, of course, "millions die" means "one bodyguard fights another bodyguard."

Misrepresentation sets in as the idiotic rant continues.

TN, it's wrong to speak evil of the Lord's anointed or to criticize the leaders of the church, even if the criticism is true (calling them "morons" is certainly both).

Correction: I called you a moron. Criticism is true.

I stand by my statement.
