Corrected myself? You seem to be arguing against an imaginary opponent. I have not corrected myself. Try to focus and actually read what people are writing.
There isn't a single piece of evidence for God's existence,
My God is found in Jesus, and you just admitted that there was evidences for the Bible.. that's why I was thinking you for correcting your position.
Feelings of love come from certain chemical processes. Is spirit chemical?
You may, and I emphasize MAY, know that feelings of love occur after a chemical process happens. You do not know that the chemical reaction is the cause of love.
Hoops wrote:That, i don't know. I don't know why God requires that the sacrifice of a higher order of Being is necessary. I would think there have been many debates/discussions/books about this. I can offer what I think, but that's probably not theologicaly relevant. And certainly not relevant to this discussion
Simple answer here Hoops. Christ's sacrifice is to SUBJECT all things unto himself. So that when he sits where he was before, (john 6) on the very throne of power (Revelation 20) he holds sway over all creation. The forgiveness of sins is only a fraction of what is going on here.
As eternity rolls and from one beginning to another God refreshes his dominion keeping all things vital an alive. You would have to understand New Mormon Theology to get a complete grasp of this. Whatever.
I can most certainly prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that YOUR god doesn't exist. Quite easily.
Please do.. prove that Jesus doesn't exist. I'd like to see this.
mormonx please prove the supernatural claim that Jesus was resurrected. It's one thing to say that he existed but it's another thing to say he did supernatural things.
I went to a magic show the other day and that magician existed but he did some pretty "supernatural" things. Really it was a bunch a illusions and it was not supernatural at all.
If you think this is a straw man, prove me wrong by providing some evidence. You still haven't done that.
I think I'm getting the two atheist mixed up.. they look so much alike :) sorry about that. I don't really have the desire to debate people that will do anything to win. The Bible says, "the fool says in his heart, there is no God." It also says not to answer a "fool" according to their folly. That doesn't mean you don't answer fools.. If that was true I'd never talk to myself again:) You just don't answer their folly.. So you want me to answer a claim that their is NO evidence for God... that is folly.

So, what you're saying is, you have no evidence. In place of evidence, you offer circular arguments. Thanks!

Nightlion wrote: No problem. You are a spirit. Proven each time you have fallen in love. Each time an idea came to you with no provenance. Every time your heart broken. And all the time as you desire more than survival, like truth, beauty, creativity, dance, joy, pleasure, friends, a nation, a God. That's a lifetime of evidence no one should deny. Why canker your soul with open wounds and sores that you never close or heal?
So, spirit is made of muscle and skin and fat and bone?

Come on Buffalo. That is crap and you know it. You just say so because the cult you are in requires it to continue with them.

It's a synergistic process between experience (meeting a person of the opposite or same sex who is attractive to you, or having kids) and chemicals. And that's it. And yes, I do know that.
What's perverted is religious people thinking there is something wrong with that. We are 100% physical beings. It's no surprise that there is a physical explanation for our feelings.
