Time Travel and You.
Suppose physical time travel is actually done by you.
Would you go backwards, forwards, yes no and why?
Can be any rules:
Napoleon Dynamite rules.
Time Cop.
Terminator.
etc. etc.
Just as long as we get the jist of it.
I'll go first using 'millenium' rules i'd burry gold under my house.

Re: Time Travel and You.
I would go using the Superman flying counterclockwise around the Earth method and buy Microsoft stocks for $21 dollars a share during the initial offering.
It might be fun to reverse my age and visit The Bay (dancing for LSD singles)again back in the early 80's. Ah, to feel like Darrick's Alpha Male again!!!

What are "millenium rules?"
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Milleninum rules state that people from the future may observe the past but should not interfere because their future will change.
Or sombody from the future can tell me the winning lotto numbers 3 days before the numbers are drawn. Of course that person would have to make sure there were the appropriate time gaps and I would have to avoid learning the winning ticket numbers from the tv or radio. Then simply take the ticket in exactlacty when I was told then clain the money. =D

Your second paragraph directly contradicts your first one.

I would travel back in time and protect John Conner.
Whatever appears to be against the Book of Mormon is going to be overturned at some time in the future. So we can be pretty open minded.-charity 3/7/07

A very interesting question.
If you go back in time, you could probably do quote well, because of all the knowledge you might possess.
And if you go forward you would be very nieve at how the world works but could expand your knowledge, assuming we all haven't killed ourselves by then.

Re: Time Travel and You.
I think I would take a trip backwards, to New York, circa 421 A.D., and hang out on the Hill Cumorah. Then, after witnessing the final battle, I would write (of course, on gold plates) my own 'The Art of War,' in a mere six weeks, or so.
Then, I would time travel, but not have to move at all, to the final Jaredite battle. I really want to see Coriantumur smite off Shiz's head, and then watch him struggling for breath, and then finally dying. (For those of you who think this isn't possible, go to FARMS and read up.)
That would be the Shiz!
And of much more value to me than $21 Microsoft stock at the IPO. Anyway, I would have lots of gold, so much gold I wouldn't know what to do with it, but hide it in a big cave.

I detest my loose style and my libertine sentiments. I thank God, who has removed from my eyes the veil...

I made a mistake, they are slightly different rules.
The person from the future would instruct me to buy the winning lotto ticket and when to claim the winnings, on the condition that nobody has turned the ticket in in their time. After buying the ticket I would need to avoid learning what the winning numbers are on my end.

Re: Time Travel and You.
In the the terminator universe, you could effect that past, because time could be circular, i.e John Conners father was from the future, and was technically younger then him when they meet, but John would not have been born if his father did not time travel into the past, and with that, John is the one who sent his father into the past to save his mother.
In the back to the future universe, this could not happen, effects to past catch up with you, and the future would change (your present).
