Some people glow some people blow.

But nothing glows like a Plastic Superman.

On a personal note-

Warm fuzzies don't mean much to me, especially from Mormon men. Mormon men seem to feel better knowing people do bad things to people who get close to me.

For the Non-Mormons, don't use the Mormon Leaders views as your edge.

We see what we have been conditioned to see.
I'm the apostate your bishop warned you about.

Which is what seems to make this particular encounter unusual.

Anyway, I'm a bit taken aback by all this, because as a grizzled apostate I thought for sure I couldn't possibly be impressed by LDS royalty anymore. Who knows, maybe this is all symptomatic of being "star struck" to some extent, because let's face it, he is, literally, a celebrity among millions of Mormons and ex-Mormons alike. Or could it be the fact that most encounters with apostles take place in controlled environments, whereas this one was in the wild?

To sum up, Elder Bednar made a distinct impression on me, but, apostate that I am, I'm left scratching my head wondering how and why this is so.

It was your last chance to accept the gospel in this life. By not doing so, you have relegated yourself to the Terrestial (if you embrace the gospel in the afterlife) or lower (I think probably MUCH lower in your case).

Not being in tune with the Spirit, and as worldly as you are, seems like you mistook the Spirit for high quality suit.

By taking the place of Jesus, bcspace has just sent himself to the Telestial Kingdom.

By that logic, I go to the CK if I myself am judged by the same standard I judged Shades with. But you've also now demonstrated your Biblical illiteracy:

Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Judgment day hasn't come, and you won't be among the saints. You just forfeited your place. Yahweh has no choice but to judge you as harshly as you judged Shades.

Sorry bc.

Is there any way we could do without the repugnant judgmentalism?

I'm with Buff on this one.

You're not exempt. You've been conditioned to see this encounter as unusual.

I think you are wrong Hades.

The amount of Influence a Person has gives them a Stronger Vibe.

Some snobby people have Glows too but theirs is a Lesser Power or Vibe than a person that
has some Actual power i.e. Doesn't struggle to gain the attention or influence of others.
The TRICK is if you get that kind of power to forget it, or let it all go.
