What an amazing coincidence! All my answers were the same as Hoops (except the second one... mine would have been no).
I guess a TR is out of the question for me. Pity, I was hoping to get in there and shoot a lot of photos.

Re: Who wants to take a temple recommend interview?
Several years after my divorce I received a letter from my former Bishop. He was formally informing me that my ex would like to re-marry in the temple and if I had any objections to a "cancellation of sealing". In my letter back to him I responded that I didn't divorce my ex with the intent of maintaining any control over her future actions. However, I did question how she was able to receive a temple recommend. I pointed out to him three of the questions asked in the temple recommend interview and gave him complete, specific, explanations as to how it would be impossible for her to give an honest affirmative answer to each (the questions dealt with honesty and financial obligations). I told him that at the VERY LEAST, restitution should be made by her to my children's savings accounts that she changed to her name, drained, and stole from (about $6,000) before she should receive a recommend. I then gave him my contact information in case he would like to reach me for further comment or explanation.
One month later she was married in the temple. None of the concerns I had were addressed. Neither the obligations to my children or others that I pointed out were met.
A month or two later my 17-year old daughter was called in by this Bishop for one of her Young Women's interviews. At the time, she had felt that I was somewhat "whacked out" concerning my views of the church and wouldn't listen to the things I pointed out to her. It was like she would put her fingers in her ears, close her eyes, and chant "LA-LA-LA-LA-LA- I CAN'T HEAR YOU" whenever topics came up. At the end of her Bishop's interview, he asked if there was anything she wanted to bring up. She asked him how, after receiving my letter to him, her mother was allowed to receive a recommend and go through the temple. His response was that since I was no longer an active member of the church, my comments carried no credibility. She was stunned. She pointed out that I was a well respected individual in the community, that my message to him was the truth, and that I was more credible than the majority of members in their ward. The Bishop responded again, "Yes, but he no longer attends church or has a belief in the gospel." She left his office unable to grasp how my personal feelings or behavior could at all take away from the truth.
I can't thank this former Bishop enough. In his stupidity he did me a tremendous favor. Besides helping my ex-mo testimony grow and strengthen, my unquestioning daughter left his office, well....questioning. All of a sudden her "whacked out" old man made a little more sense. She no longer turns a deaf ear and blind eye towards the church. Somewhere down the road she will be out. This Bishop was able to accomplish what I was unable to do. Thank you, thank you THANK YOU!!!!!

LOL! To paraphrase Groucho Marx, I would never want to belong to a club that would have me as a member.
