He was good, but somehow he still managed to get raped by pig-demons.
Did they get a red card for that?

or are you still going to miss his point completely?....
The Nehor wrote:If either of us was a believer in Pele then yes, that would be comparable. If not, then not.
Much better then "invisible biting devils" in any case.
He didn't have a coherent point.
schreech wrote:How is Pele better than "invisible biting devils"? I believe in Pele as much as i believe in Elohim...I am guessing Buffalo (and most rational human beings) feels the same way so its completely comparable for those of us not stuck believing in your particular mythologies...You seem to be the only one who thinks your pseudo-god is more believable than anyone else's....
So, you choose to continue to miss the point...not completely unexpected from someone who admits to speaking with demons (among other lunacies)....
When I assaulted the man with a knife I was arrested because a policeman happened to be there waiting for me to attack someone with a knife (I had a history you see). That means the policeman caused the attack.
Has nothing to do with your previous scenario. I'm going to stop asking if you're really this dumb, because I already know the answer.
The Nehor wrote:Yes, it does. You see in both cases you assume that foreknowledge = causing the events you knew would happen.
The Nehor wrote:I would recommend Blue's Clues and their games of "Which one is not like the other?" After you master those basic skills we can work our way up to analogy.
The Nehor wrote:I eagerly await your next b***s*** hypothesis. :)
I haven't created one yet. So speaking of a "next" one is premature and idiotic.
I accept your surrender. Your intellectual inferiority is noted and you have my pity. :)
The Nehor wrote:Ah yes, I'm not sure if you are deliberately misunderstanding or pretending to be stupid to make yourself feel smart. Either one makes humiliates you even further.
To clarify, I did not give up on my argument. I gave up on your ability to reason. I don't have the patience to cope with your inappropriately smug middle-school level debating skills.
A flaw of mine I know. One day maybe I will develop said patience.

The difference is clear.
only in your mind...
Pele actually causes the earthquakes through gaseous volcanic explosions in order to chase "biting devils" back into the underworld and keep them from taking over her domain...The "pig-god", Kamapua, and Pele fight often and she covers the land with lava while he tries to extinguish her fires with rain and waves...Kamapua has quite a few "biting devils" under his control but, you are correct, they don't cause earthquakes...they are responsible for heavy rain and tsunami's....Pele causes earthquakes to keep Kamapua from raping her....

The Nehor wrote:Buffalo wrote:How are they conceptually different, Nehor? Why is positing god as an undetectable influencer of evolution different than positing invisible biting devils as undetectable influencers of earthquakes?
Perhaps that God would have a reason to create the earth? Also, we have some idea of what we are talking about when we talk about God. Neither I nor you believe in or have any idea what would motivate these mythical invisible biting devils you invented. Are they hobbits? You have no response, otherwise you'd have given it already. :)
No, I have many. I was hoping you could rub your two brain cells together and figure out the obvious by yourself. Once again my hopes for you are dashed.

Please read more carefully in the future and read the back-and-forth before jumping in and humiliating yourself via your ignorance.
Okay, I'm going to put it down to deliberately ignoring what I said now. Either that or the self-inflicted stupidity Buffalo was inflicting on himself.
In either case the same sickness requires the same cure. I'm going to continue to up the average IQ at work in the posts I read and add you to the foe list too.
Bye! :)
