Well, I have seen the arguement from YE people that the force of the Flood was such to create the Grand Canyon.

If that is true than I think the water mixture would have happened fairly quickly.

I still wanna know how Noah got all that food and fresh water on the Ark...enough to last the year they were on it.

It's an interesting and beautiful planet.

It must have been a very big and well equipped ark.

Excuse me, there is nothing to prohibit God from introducing as many new plants and animals as would please him on a continual and ongoing basis. Consider the Amazon his horticulture and species engine and Australia his preserve.

I believe that he tweaked the genome of the children of Cain who first made war that a blackness came upon them. Not as much to punish them as to diversify the gene pool of humanity. Then he tweaked the genome of the Lamanites so that the ISLAND of the Book of Mormon would have a diverse gene pools such that the thousands of years would not make for inbred idiots. Every time someone truly receives the gospel they are tweaked. In this case only the meek get tweaked. But it's a good tweaking that.

If you were an infinite creator and got a sudden idea for a new breed of dog what hinders such and artist from doing his will and pleasure. Whenever.

That is verbotten because the cataloguers cannot have it. RIGHT!

Guys, guys, and gals, gals, all the Lord needs to do is have a craft circle the earth and reseed it. You got to stop thinking that God is forbidden from doing anything after the beginning. He was under no obligation to explain it. He could restock it with all the animals he chooses. Set up a separate continent for his marsupials.

The only reason Noah took animals with him was so that his people would have animals near by when they got off the ark. Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze. It was not the be all end all of all species.
I swear you thinkers imagine God is dead or that he doth sleep.

And perhaps there was a good reason to eliminate most of the paradisaical plants and critters.
That might change longevity and stuff like that for us. Hmm? No more schmoos. Sorry Some Schmo.

Gushing water invading relatively still salt water? I'm not so sure.

If God is able to place new species on earth whenever he wants, as you claim, then why didn't God just put animals near Noah when he got off the ark?

Well, in that case why an ark? Those animals were given a blessing to endure the flood and where chosen specifically for what they were and needed a means to get to the other side without the Lord scooping them up in UFOs and planting them back down again. It would disjoint the telling of it according to the times and seasons appointed to man if he were to interject high tech before its time. What the Lord chose to do with the rest of the world while man was only a small village is his own concern.

They just went out on deck, looked up, opened their mouths, and drank the rain.

And then they had the two of every animal breed, and then ate the baby animals.

Duh!

Sea plants (like kelp or whatever) evolved to repopulate the dry earth while simultaneously sucking up all the salt from the earth to get rid of all the salty goodness left from the global flood. Solved.

Silly you! They were all vegetarians until AFTER they got off the Ark. Geez.
