I made chocolate rum balls today. Tomorrow I'm going to a different ward in Chicago to visit a very special missionary, and I want to leave him with a treat. (Yes, the rum is imitation extract.) I try to do a baking or sweet treat project with my daughter at least once a week.
I also made chicken quesadillas. I'm going to drop them off at my church on the way to Chicago as an after-the-service snack in the foyer. I haven't made this recipe in almost a year, but it was a big hit at the ward potluck last year. Hopefully evangelicals will dig it as much as Mormons.
