I am extremely glad you are no longer in the Church and are now farther away from our youth. You're posts read like they are straight out of an episode of Law & Order: SVU.

To answer the OP, LDS women become fat because then they know you won't be interested in them.
I think most here can agree that is a wise decision.

LOL. That statement is based on telephone survey data, not actual anthropomorphic measurements. This approach is not ideal since people can be mistaken or intentionally misrepresent their height and weight over the phone. But that is not what prompted my LOL. I LOL'ed because they only surveyed adults aged 18 and older, i.e., no children.
So, Buffalo, not only have you made a fool out of yourself (again), but I happen to know that obesity in American children is a real problem based on what I have seen in the NHANES data, which includes actual anthropometric measurements and is not based on self or parent reported values.
If a woman exercises and gets into fantastic shape, and then wears clothes that are not revealing in the least but show off her figure, there will be chubby Relief Society "mad mommas" that will accuse her of being "walking porn."
Could that be an answer as to why many LDS women don't exercise?
This is what it feels like every time a Relief Society sister does the fake-smile thing at you on Sundays:
