My point, Droopy, is that these "hundreds of serious, intellectual substantive threads" don't exist. That's not what you do. If there are so many of them, how about you point us to 5 or 6 of them?
It would run to the many hundreds, no doubt, if my posting here, at ZLMB, and MAD were all taken into consideration, over the years. The only reason you don't know about them, Scratch, is that you never participated in the vast majority of them because serious, philosophical discussion is outside your circle of interest.

"Summum bonum" if I'm not mistaken means "the supreme good" (in the neuter form when the masculine is possibly more appropriate) when simply "Droopy is the greatest [or best] of all WWII era cartoon characters" would be more concise.

I think then that "summe bonus" (damn conjugation~nominative form I guess is what it would be although accusative form might be what's require since it's direct object) would be "supremely good".
