A cross would pose a problem since this monument is now designated as a National Historic Landmark.

Actually, in the old days people were much more fanatical about their garments. You hear stories about early Mormons only partially removing their garments to shower/bath, maintaining some kind of contact with them at all times.

In Utah I had an after school part time job at a company that supplied mowers and other lawn equipment. They had a mechanic working there who's garments were nearly black (on the bits you could see). He smelled so bad that you couldn't be around him very long.

Obviously, he solved the shower/ bath problem by just not ever taking one.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.
