That's one of the most apt and succinct descriptions of Droopy's posting persona I've ever read.

Nor did you ever address any of the questions I asked you, including the most salient one: in what U.S. jurisdiction is your "traditional definition of marriage" codified into law?

California.

California has codified that the purpose of marriage is to have children? I did not know that.

I take it, then, that in California post-menopausal women cannot get married?

Is there like a statute of repose or something in California wherein if you fail to have children within a certain period of time after your wedding ceremony, your marriage becomes void?

civil? Hardly.

Idea based?
Well you have exactly one idea: Leftism is identical to socialism and both are identical to -or at least underlie -- all social evils from Cain's murder of Able right up to Goldie Hahn's miniskirt.

Leftism is your bogey man and you find it lurking in every closet, waiting around every corner, and down every dark alley.

Case in point: I would like to remind everyone of the time that the mere mention of the double Texas sized island of plastic debris in the pacific ocean caused Droopy to descend into a tirade of anger and insults saying something along the lines of "screw you" to those who were concerned about it. Kerry Shirts merely lamented its existence but this incensed Droops. (I guess Kerry was baiting Droopy! LOL) Droopy is offended even by the notion that someone might think that pollution caused by industry and consumerism etc. could be a bad thing.

I can hear him now
'Pollution?' he would say,.. 'Only a leftist would worry about that.'

Or, oh wait, yes,....pollution is bad but it is caused by leftists! That's the ticket.
when believers want to give their claims more weight, they dress these claims up in scientific terms. When believers want to belittle atheism or secular humanism, they call it a "religion". -Beastie

Sounds like pollution is only bad to leftists. Apparently, the right loves living in filth.

What good is marine life to god's plan anyway? All he needs is five fish and he can feed a multitude.

Pfffft... pollution. Big deal.

Consider this an apology, and I'm going to bow out of this particular thread, at this point, so as not to continue on the same path.

Thank you. I accept and offer the same to you for any offending remarks I made recently as well.
