Now, I will admit that I cannot prove with certainty that Santa is not real. My conclusion that Santa is not real is based on the current state of the evidence, and it may theoretically be possible that some evidence will come along someday to change the paradigm to which I desperately cling. That is, I am stuck in a paradigm where it is ridiculously implausible that ... .
1 Corinthians 13:10-12 wrote:But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
That this is used in the Bible to promote faith is one of the most clear cut examples of twisted logic. It is childish to believe in myths in the face of evidence to the contrary, but that's religion for you--claiming it is mature to believe in what cannot be verified through evidence. Superstition is more the mark of a child than an adult.
Maybe not what Paul had in mind when writing the Corinthians, but to religionists I will be clear, "put away your childish things."
Mr. Nightlion, "God needs a valid stooge nation and people to play off to wind up the scene."

You a good guy SB so I will assume your use of Amateur was being applied towards yourself since a simple assertion is no good if you don't actually explain how it is a false analogy, but then I have learned that some like yourself just like to make substances-less assertions as though that is all that is needed.

Strange how obvious the analogy is to you if it's so patently false.
