The degree to which several on that board seem to be fueled by sheer personal hatred astonishes me. (There were the usual suspects, of course, but I'll admit that a particularly vicious remark from LDSToronto caught me by surprise.)

I'm afraid that this is my cue to leave this board as well. I've done virtually nothing with LDS apologetics since December of 2010 and only accepted Liz's invitation to register here so I could say hello to a few friends (Liz, Scottie, etc.) and comment here and there on some lighter matters. I've had enough of that miscreant stalker to last a lifetime; I'll be sticking to boards that deal with my car hobby/obsession. Now that he's sniffed out this little corner of the Internet, it's obvious that there is no place for me to interact with the folks I've met in these activities over the years. It's a shame really.

His "Very Respectfully" schtick relates back to the fact that he's ex-military and that's a standard closing on their written correspondences. His in real life ID is VERY easy to find on the Internet...as is his picture. The fact is - he's a jerk of the highest degree. That's all there is to it.
