You like and know a lot about Star Wars.

I like 8-bit video games.

We all have our nerdy side. So what?

No, I just like that as an avatar, although I am currently into lesbo-erotic Disney avatars.

I like 8-bit video games.

We all have our geeky side. So what?

Well, Joseph Smith certainly enjoyed writing fanfic based on his favorite mythos, too.

No no no, you aren't getting out of this that easily. I've seen you quote Star Wars on more than one occasion. I think you even posted about how the Moon of Endor was the real geographic location of the Book of Mormon (could be mistaken).

But I've never mocked you for that.

Well, Joseph Smith certainly enjoyed writing fanfic based on his favorite mythos, too.

So he deserves to be mocked for it?

By the way, have you read Back to the Future fanfic? I think I am going to become a Hill Valley apologist.

I see that Dr. Peterson is now using Liz's board as a launching pad for smearing and demonizing "apostates":

Daniel Peterson wrote:I just went over to have a look at the thread for which ttribe supplied the link.

The degree to which several on that board seem to be fueled by sheer personal hatred astonishes me. (There were the usual suspects, of course, but I'll admit that a particularly vicious remark from LDSToronto caught me by surprise.)

And you can rest assured that it was a serious exegesis of the Star Wars mythos, and not just a satire of the Book of Abraham! blog.php?u=7958&b=2748

Yes, he does.

To be fair, that would have approximately the same degree of pertinence to real things that happened in the real world as being a Book of Mormon apologist.

"I'm curious as to what the vultures have to say. LOL" - liz

I had no opinion about you either way before i read that board, but reading your posts on that site made me think significantly less of you....Is this what internet LDS believers do now? Seems pretty manic/two-faced/pathetic...I guess supporting Mormonism requires "believers" to do pretty desperate things INCLUDING starting a different message board where they can commiserate with other momo loons/"defenders" about the critics inability to buy the bulls%$& the believers vomit forth...Maybe DP will give you a MI gold star and, MAYBE, now, you can actually get that time in your "goddess-suite" with the nehor that you seem to, often, allude to...Good luck with that...

I love that you called everyone on this site "vultures"...Definitely christ-like....

I'm pretty sure Liz was joking but I could be wrong.

What is this other board? This is the first I have seen of it.

I thought this post from ttribe was interesting:

ttribe wrote:Link: http://www.mormondiscussions.com/phpBB3 ... 40#p499240

I'm afraid that this is my cue to leave this board as well. I've done virtually nothing with LDS apologetics since December of 2010 and only accepted Liz's invitation to register here so I could say hello to a few friends (Liz, Scottie, etc.) and comment here and there on some lighter matters. I've had enough of that miscreant stalker to last a lifetime; I'll be sticking to boards that deal with my car hobby/obsession. Now that he's sniffed out this little corner of the Internet, it's obvious that there is no place for me to interact with the folks I've met in these activities over the years. It's a shame really.

I found this post even *more* intriguing:

ttribe wrote:No, he's not really a doctor. That "title" relates to that stupid "Cassius University" parody. His "Very Respectfully" schtick relates back to the fact that he's ex-military and that's a standard closing on their written correspondences. His in real life ID is VERY easy to find on the Internet...as is his picture. The fact is - he's a jerk of the highest degree. That's all there is to it.

So, I guess I'll see you on the Acurazine forums then, Tim? If not, then by all means: feel free to "call us out."
