With so many members posting their lame ass profiles on Mormon.org, it is evident the screening process has either been turned off or is overwhelmed.

I was unaware of that site until Brade's post. All I can say is this is like watching a train wreck. I might become addicted to reading profiles. The pictures, the grammar, the truthiness of their statments. What can I say

Mentally handicapped? Not just *whispering* "she's a little slow", but legally mentally handicapped?
If so, how is she a full member with membership number and "allowed" to post a public profile on morg.org?

Just to clarify, this thread is not to poke fun at these people on a personal level. It is pointing out how ridiculous of an idea it was for LDS Inc to launch this in the first place.

Everything out of LDS HQ up to this point was sterile, homogenized, and seemingly built to spec.

I really think this Mormon.org profile thing will backfire on the leadership. Especially when the PR department gets a reality check and realizes how bizarre most of the profiles are.
