That could be offensive. Buffalo, however, is one of the most offensive posters here (see the SWK thread, for example). I am not saying he deserves what he gets, but I am also not saying we should expect DCP to be perfect and never react to things.

Properly understood, I'm very rarely offensive. What's should be offensive to you is SWK's slander of the Christian doctrine of vicarious atonement, and his sick obsession with self-flagellation. The man was mentally ill.

I wasn't offended by DCP basically calling me a poo poo head. I just thought it was embarrassing that he, allegedly some sort of scholar, thinks grade-school level stuff like that is clever. I think we need to start taking responsibility for ourselves and our choices, DrW. All bad, offensive things are not always someone else's fault.

I honestly don't recall him saying that. I believe that he said that Will showed no signs of misogynistic behavior when they met in person. That's different from stating that he treated women poorly on MDB. As a matter of fact, Dan expressed to me in an email that Will was definitely out of line in his treatment of me.

Is this then another bait and switch approach? Say DCP did one thing by treating his words as something he never intended?

its hard to imagine people not realizing that they are even doing this. There's something deeper going on here. they can't even acknowledge a lot of this stuff.
