But you hang out on Mormon discussion boards. Whatever.
Never say never, Hoops. Haven't you learned that yet`?
You are't that young.
I suppose. But I could see me being atheist/agnostic well before becoming Mormon. You forget I've had the advantage of living among them, yet still being on the outside.
Apparently Packers just told the youth that Christ isn't coming anytime soon. He stated that they would see their Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren without any second coming.
'Church pictures are not always accurate' (The Nehor May 4th 2011)
Morality is doing what is right, regardless of what you are told. Religion is doing what you are told, regardless of what is right.

You must have been one of those hard hearted gentiles that one of the highest baptizing missions in the world failed to capture. You tough cookie you.
By they way where I live is pretty pluralistic. Lots of Catholics. Lots of Protestant. Plenty of EV types, some Jewish. I quite like it really. Grew up in Utah. Even when I was TBM I had no desire to live there. Often you hear among Mormons where I live refer to someone who is rather rigid and dogmatic as a "Utah" or "Western" Mormon.

Packer has said that before. Heritic! Jesus was supposed to be hear in my life I thought. You know that Saturday Warrior thing.
Bednar just finished talking about the spirit of Elijah, work for the dead and told the youth to use their tech skills to do genealogy. Wants them to get busy with it.
Neil Anderson on having kids, not putting them off, having lots of kids, etc.
I wonder if anyone will talk about Economy, taking care of each other in tough times, feeding the hungry, increasing fast offerings, other world affairs.

They will get you by proxy after you are dead if you don't watch yourself.
As it were, this morning I was reading about the "great gulf" in the next life. If they're with me, then not necessary, if they're not... well, can't say I didn't tell 'em so. :)

Economy, shnomony. For the FP/12 (and the handful of 70s that will get to address the conference), it's all good if the young Mormons will hurry up, get married and start pumping out bunches of new, little tithepayers in large numbers.
