Not only are homosexuals expected to live without sexual companionship their entire life (unless they give heterosexuality a go) they are expected to never have an orgasm (on purpose) thier entire life!
That, my friends, is unhealthy.
Agreed. It's totally unatural. It's a commandment made up by silly men who desire to control the lives of others. Forbidding others to masturbate is sexual sin! President Spencer Whore Kimball was a sexual deviant. He has a lot to answer for. I suspect there are boys who committed suicide because of his manmade teaching. Hence, in a way, President Kimball is a murderer. His name will go down in history for murdering young boys.

I think that it is difficult for any faith to tell its flock that it is okay to touch oneself in the genital area. I have not heard of any faith saying that it is okay. Most ignore it and say nothing. In the old days, most religious christian faiths were opposed to masturbation. The rules began to relax after the 60's. But I have heard no public declaration from any christian religion saying that it is okay to masturbate.

I imagine most don't say anything because they shouldn't. The LDS are the only ones I'm aware of that have said anything, but we all know that religion has a huge poll up its ass about sex in the first place.
I've heard no public declaration from any christian religion saying that it is okay to fly model airplanes. Does that mean it's unchristian?
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
Most religions don't have 50 year old men sitting alone in a room with a 12 year old boy asking the boy if he touches his peepee.

In the catholic church priests listen to teenagers tell them that they masturbated. And I am sure that other teens have told their pastors. In most religions, it is still a sin. That is just the way it is. But in protestantism, the pastor may be told if the teen thinks that it is a problem in their life. Also, I have known no bishop or branch president that has asked such a question. Many just ask about chasity and any problems with it.

when I was a boy, I heard that one can go blind if one masturbates. In the catholic faith, it was a sin. All boys and girls knew that. We were taught that by nuns. Go back in time and all christian sects were opposed to masturbation and told their flock that it was a sin.
TIme has moved on. Now, in the media, teens are told that it is natural and don't worry about it and many christian faiths ignore the masturbation sin. But the only thing that has changed are the morals of society and what is acceptable and what isn't.

CFR, my brother. I will agree that the Catholic church has had some unhealthy teachings about sex and masturbation, as well. But to claim that all christian sects throughout the past 2000 years have taught that it was a sin....you go too far, sir.
And, of course, no bishop says "do you touch your peepee." They ask "do you masturbate" and then when the poor little boy says he doesn't know what that means the bishop explains it to him.
And, yes, they do sometimes ask. My bishop does ask. Even my 60 year old dad was asked in his last interview.
