I thought this rock was something over a year ago and took a picture. Then recently I was drawn into it again. I took several pictures from different angles in the afternoon light. From the hillside in Sugar House Park I got this stupendous shot.

Here is my tracing:

Things of spectacular note:
The leafy headdress/crown
He is spewing a blackness out of his mouth much like old paintings of the devil.
Looks like he has a pair of sunglasses on to signify he is hip for this day as the father of pride.
In his right hand he holds up a torch with flames rising in front of his face. This act of light bearing is a great determinant of who this image is of. (Lucifer means Light Bearer)
The flame is translucent in this shot which is rather fantastic.
The torch itself is a death mask signifying that the devil has the power of death.
Hebrews 2: 14
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
He is posed as the god of this world like Zeus in the temple of Olympia.
He has a royal robe on.
He is looking with earnestness towards The Apocalrock.
His left arm is hanging down and holding a parchment of antiquity in his hand as if skins tied between staves. Secrets of works of darkness for another determinant of who this image is of.
He is seated on the sides of the North. North of The Apocalrock as a determinant that this is Lucifer who vaunted that he would so sit.
Isaiah 14:12-19
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.
We also have that shot of Lucifer brought down to the sides of the pit:

This is of course at the mouth of Parley's Canyon. The Lucifer Colossus is at the mouth of Millcreek Canyon.
Nothing like a little dramatic conflict to pique some notoriety for The Apocalrock Visitor Center
200 South Orchard Drive #1 in North Salt Lake. Thinking of having live acoustic guitar nights with a scone buffet for fund raisers. (Veggies, fruits, meats and sweat toppings on a great scone are fantastic) I will call it CRYIN' FOR ZION. Watch the marquee out front. I wont be covering pop tunes except my HEY HEY HEY NOW JOSEPH take on the old standard. Oh, and that Johnny Cash tune I just learned. Any other guitarists who can stay on topic will be welcome.
