You are catching on. The key word is "imagine". A single person may experience an instance of pareidolia rather spontaneously depending on their inclinations but other people will have to be told how to see it. On the other hand, I see something a bit different in those rocks. Who is right? No one is right. There is no fact of the matter (obviously). It is a projection of the imagination.
In short, the revelations are in you, not on the rocks. The rocks just provide patterns of light and dark for the pattern seeking brain to work on.
