Give me two months of undivided attention and discipline in the devoted pursuit of the knowledge of God and you will get astonishing substantive results if you are honest and not hypocUrite in your intentions. Yeah, you would have to give it full time attention, not drive, not work, just you with your thoughts, but out in the real world and not isolated. You need to contrast your purposefulness against the real world, walk among the people, forgive, be charitable, want love to exist and rule in your heart, yielding the hope of you heart and will to the sovereignty of Jesus Christ. Taking his name upon you with full purpose of heart. This is the meekness of a broken heart and contrite spirit that desires a living relationship with God directly as promised of God and shed upon all those whom the Father has given unto Christ.
Christians let their lives go, as baptism if the sign of death, that they might be raised up new creatures in the love of God. And that of God and his power not the flattering words of deceitful moneychangers.

Great, but it is not brainwashing except that you surrender your brain to God and he gives you a new one. That which transcends our world is not easily explained. I would not be feeding you information other than a critique on weather you are 'bringing it' so that God is actually permitted to change you. People in general are not willing to go all in with God and therefore the Lord will not respond.

Expecting a great experience only to be disappointed can galvanized a wrong opinion that God is not true and probably does not even exist or that the expectation was bogus. God has not moved the goal posts so it becomes easier.

Okay, it is brainwashing. But a manner of brainwashing of God and not of men.You have the natural brain, fallen, carnal, sensual and devilish. They used to refer to the heart rather than to the brain, but today we know better so brain it is. In the old days it was also called circumcise the foreskin of your heart that the Lord may put his love there and give you a new heart from God. Because you must surrender, all in all, and take upon you the name of Jesus Christ with a wholehearted determination to serve him at all hazard you are in fact yielding your brain to God. The natural brain is an enemy to God and you need a new brain so that the love of God might abide with you. Forever after God will be in all your thoughts. You can still concentrate on math problems without God interrupting but the default will always go to God.

The purpose of true religion is to make of us ONE as Jesus prayed for in the Gospel of John.
Even though one may THINK great progress toward oneness with God is made after being visited of God and truly wrought upon and cleansed by the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost, not so. How great is the disparity between us and oneness with God.

Ephesians 4

22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the bold man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the anew man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
