I'm highly employed. I truly thought you were going to sincerely attempt to avoid spreading falsehoods and lies about people.

I could have sworn that I saw a post at some point in which you said that you were out of work. At what vocation are you "employed"?

What special and/or unique life experiences have you had? What vocational training do you have that would provide special insight into the things that are discussed on the board?

funny scratch. I ain't biting. If you too feel I have nothing worth hearing or chatting about, I'll accept that and happily live on.

I haven't made up my mind one way or another on the matter of whether or not you have anything that's worth "hearing or chatting about." I've heard you repeatedly assert that you do, and that others must listen to you, but I'd like to see some more elaboration on all of this from you. If you have no reply---well, I guess that's a kind of answer in and of itself.

I assume that you think you've "got a lot to offer." Well, why not share what that might be?

Then I won't.

Does anybody else know what the hell stemelbow is talking about when he says I have "partners" here? Because I'm entirely confused.

why me wrote:No. Certainly not a commandment as implied by MsJack.

MsJack thinks it's a commandment in the same sense that the LDS church says it's a commandment in its official lesson materials.

But I'm not surprised that the man who thinks dry humping isn't against LDS church teaching would claim that temple marriage is just a quaint little optional ordinance, no big deal whether you have one or not.

why me wrote:For MsJack, getting married in the temple is a commandment which is why her and her husband chose a protestant marriage.

???

We chose a "Protestant marriage" over "getting married in the temple" because I'm not LDS and non-Mormons can't have temple marriages. Honestly, why me, it's like you're trying to take ignorance of LDS beliefs to a whole new level.

Moreover though, I was very close to my pastor, who had an extremely good relationship with the LDS church, whereas my husband was never particularly close to any of his student ward bishops. So there was really no reason not to ask my pastor to perform the interfaith wedding.

why me wrote:But she could have had a chapel marriage and leave it at that. No problem.

Once again, I had to contact over a dozen different wards just to find one that would let us use the cultural hall for the wedding reception. I very much doubt I could have easily procured a wedding ceremony in an LDS chapel "no problem."

I could give you my speculation and then stem can come and tell us that I am twisting his words and have it all wrong, but fail to tell us what he actually does mean.

Ok, I'll bite.

He seems to think that a group of forum members have partnered up, dare I say conspired, to gang up on him and twist his words.

LMFAO

Really, stem? You started this thread to sum up an "uneventful" day? I am not sure why an uneventful day would need it's very own summary thread.

Obviously you took it the wrong way. All I am saying is she went on and on about why she thinks negatively about me, which in some very general sense at least implies bad.

That's funny Scratch. You could have sworn many things that you speculate on and then somehow later down the road that speculation becomes some proven established fact in your mind. I really thought you were going to put this silly behavior behind you.

I never thought your question was serious. I'm obviously talking about those who agree with you regarding Mormonism...well those who post here along with you. You see how you have something in common with Just Me? Or Scratch? or Buffalo? Or Blixa? or many others? We can play the game what do all of these have in common if ya like. Of course, I just think you're being obtuse when you ask that for some sort of effect. Whatever.

Just me, I'm sure you're just trying to attack me now. But whatever. I have already explicitly stated a few times I do not think there is any sort of conspiracy that spans the globe against me at all. I don't think many to most of hte posters here get at all that the way they act and behave is often rude, condescending, hostile, nor unfriendly. Indeed, I think many to most think they are being as polite and cordial as can be. Yet, when I say to MsJack, in effect, you're wrong, she and you continue to say I somehow was being hostile. Ah well. I think that explains many of the problems here.

I feel that the meaning of my statement here is perfectly clear. I think the miscommunication is the fault of us all. I think if you opened up a bit and realized I'm not at fault all on my own you'd get my point a little better.
