The church publishes many inside pictures usually taken before a temple is dedicated.

Thanks, Themis.

The following are serious questions (No disrespect intented. Promise)
What about after they are dedicated? Are pictures allowed? Can LDS folk take a camera to Temple? Can they share them? Is Ceeboo suppose to be allowed to see them?

Peace,

My understanding is that the church does not, but exceptions may be allowed.

Can LDS folk take a camera to Temple? Can they share them?

Definitely not. It has happened, including video or audio of the temple rituals.

Is Ceeboo suppose to be allowed to see them?

If you do you will get cancer of the eye, and you will be thrust down to hell when you die. :)

The inner pictures that I have posted are from the LDS church itself. The pictures of the inside of the Salt Lake City temple have obviously been taken since it's initial dedication. But, they were taken by the church for the purpose of showing people what it looks like.

The church actually has a magazine called The Temple (or somthing like that) full of pictures and I believe explanations of the temple. You can buy it at a Distribution Center or Deseret Book and probably online.

Ceeboo, all the pictures I've posted were found on Google Images. There are a ton on there.

Hey Just me (Thanks for all the contributions in this thread)

There is a LDS Temple that can be seen while driving a major road in my neck of the woods.
(I live in Michigan and it's off of a road called Woodward Ave that I use often).

Anyway, the one that I have seen many, many times while driving by it (Unless I am wrong an it's not a Temple, but I am almost certain that it is) seems to be a lot smaller and much less impressive than the ones in this thread. (Maybe there is a logical reason for this?)

Peace,

The newer temples are smaller. The temples in Utah are larger than the ones outside Utah. It's a financial/business decision.

Here is the Denver Temple, it is on the smaller side.

Here's a nice video of my home town temple. The real thing isn't really very imposing and is just plopped down in the parking lot of a stake center. I've always thought it would be a nice building for a furniture store.

Here's the photo of the Celestial room circa 1912 that I was thinking of. The veil looks more like a theater curtain here:

You can see more of the 1912 interior of the Salt Lake temple here:

Here is the Toronto Ontario Temple, about an hour from my home. Oddly, it's not actually in Toronto, rather, it is in Brampton, about 45 minutes north of Toronto.

It is a rather plain temple, in my opinion, but beautiful at night:

This Hindu temple is about 5 minutes away from the Toronto Temple, and is beautiful:
