Has Schryver been published yet?

Word on the street is it will be published with the next edition of Hustler.

Sadly that would just serve to lower Hustlers credibility as a scholarly journal.

Indeed. The Lemon Party Quarterly might be a more appropriate venue.

(Helpful hint - if you're not familiar with "lemon party," for God's sake don't google it!)

I got banned over there for making a post asking when Will Schryver would be published (and where). Someone replied that I should ask Will this question and I replied by thanking them and that I'd try to contact Schryver personally with my questions. Next thing I knew, the thread was deleted and I'd been banned. That was a couple of months ago. I have been a member over there for years and rarely made any posts. I actually asked just out of curiosity and there was nothing offensive in how I asked or in the content of my post (so I thought). I was promptly banned "forever" (I think it stated that I'd be reinstated "never"). I wrote to one of the moderators asking them why I'd been banned and they never even replied. It all seemed very strange to me! What a way to treat people!!!

Not really. I was effectively banned sometime between June and October when I wasn't even active on the forum.

You, however, were one of three or four people who were banned from MDDB in May in the wake of the events of this thread here. The mods at MDDB appear to be huge fans of William's and were making every effort to make sure the community at MDDB didn't learn the full extent of his behavior towards women. Your thread asking about his upcoming publications would have led to others pointing out that he'd just had a publication pulled because of said behavior. Hence your banning.

I believe consiglieri and Rockslider were also among the "May Misogyny Massacre" body count.

I doubt that the Brethren would allow Will's paper to be published in any journal they control. Not necessarily because they don't agree with the basic premise (although they may not agree), but because of the PR debacle that would immediately appear, should MsJack's very informative thread be sent to any number of interested newspapers... given the current political climate, of course. Maybe after the election, or even the nomination next summer, it wouldn't matter so much. Right now, the press slurps up anything that makes the church look ... strange.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Well, one of the two volumes of the CHI is now public, isn't it?

MAD board moderator/Will Schryver
Will Schryver/MAD board moderator

It's as if the two things are intercangeably one and the same.

Your heinus crime was in following up on a Schryverism (a bold claim made about something that William Schryver cannot back up with anything factual/evidencial).

Never do that, there's no point....

The first rule of Mopologetics Club is we do not ask about when or where Schryver will be published. The second rule is remarkably similar to the first.
