(by the way, I wonder why you think threats of what Yahweh will do are to be taken more seriously than threats of what Ogun, Anubis and any of the rest of them will do. Isn't that a bit 'narrow-minded' of you?)

The rules of the board and my own commitment to freedom of debate prevent me from expressing any hope other than that you will continue to give us the benefits of your inestimable insights. But if you feel more comfortable in the company of people who tremble or at least keep their facial expressions serious when you tell that that Yahweh is really mad at them, then i suppose I would understand that.

Listen, you don't need to be "wordy". Make it simple. Let me simplify it for you: You're just another r******* anti-Mormon, like about 99% of the posters here. You're at home. Relax! Spend all your spare time attacking Mormons! Justify yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! be happy!!!!!!! Itch your itch. Scratch your scratch, and above all, relax, There is no God, heaven, or hell . There, you win!!!!!

You're welcome! Some posters prefer argument and evidence. Some prefer abuse. That's just the way the Tooth Fairy made them.

That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

Ray
We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Anyway, Mr. Ray. Wouldn't a true echo chamber be selecting a "dream team" of posters you "like", create a private board by invite-only, and then set about moderating discussions to your own satisfaction? I think, for whatever reason, you're feeling very conflicted about who you are, what you're doing with yourself, and you're displacing your anger onto this board. I'll repeat, regarding Dr. Scratch's former sig line, that I always thought it meant Mr. Peterson felt like he had a gun to his head due to his martyr complex. I find it bizarre you imagined Mr. Peterson was holding a pistol to someone else's head... And frankly, my friend, that's cause for a little self-reflection on your part. What caused your brain to manufacture such terrible imagery?

Your friend,

Dr. Cameron

Ray is being a meanie again.

Really, you're just a stupid person. A dimwit. Your IQ is about on the level of "gramps", and that's being generous!!!

Did someone run off, yet again, without paying their fare last night, Ray?

Hey Ray,

Maybe you could post some all-time video hits of Elders Maxwell, McKay and Dr. Peterson for us over here, as well. You know, to get us back into the proper spirit and all.

You're cracking me up.

You literally can't keep yourself together, no matter what board you post on, now can you?

Anyway, by all means, continue to make an ass of yourself. I am getting the tinglies and a burning in my bosom.

This board must be true!

apparently DCP on thecafeteria wrote:I hadn't known that "sock puppet" was "Nimrod" until just now. (I don't care much, either, truth be told.)

What a weird place that is.
Ray A wrote:Ahem. I was actually the one who "outed" Nimrod some time ago. He at first denied it, but eventually took it like a good sport. Nothing surreptitious there on my part. There was "guessing thread" about who SP is, and after long checks of the archives I noticed distinctive similarities between SP's posts and Nimrod's posts.

Now if I could only find out who Scratch is. Wink

Dr Scratch wrote:[Note: TTribe was claiming rather aggressively that Sock Puppet "hates" him and views him as little more than a "cockroach" due to some mix-up involving a U2 concert. As to why Elder Tribe would be complaining about this on a private board---who knows?]

Perhaps ttribe needed fodder for his whining mill, and that could be why he's apparently twisted things.

My disdain is for ttribe's whining, no other attribute. I have even made that distinction, and lamented his whiny attitude recently as having been the downfall of a good, thoughtful poster.

It centers around no one event, and there was no U2 concert mix-up that ttribe might be suggesting. I had some prime reserved seat tickets to a SLC show that was postponed from June 2010 (Bono suffered a back injury in Germany shortly before that). I decided initially that I would not keep the tickets for whenever that performance might be rescheduled in 2011. ttribe had mentioned on board that he liked U2, so I offered the tickets to him. A couple of months later, he turned down the offer. So I turned the tickets back in to the box office for a refund. (I ended up going to the rescheduled performance on 5/24/2011, with my brother-in-law and so we got some general admission tickets. Unfortunately, the performance was sub-par and I am starting to think Some Schmoe is right about U2 being overrated. I've never thought they were as good as Bono thinks they are, but I do enjoy the Edge's guitar playing.)

I do not hate ttribe. I do not dislike ttribe. His brand of Mormonism was very nuanced, and he was an ardent defender. My only beef with ttribe was his harping that other posters are treating him unfairly, and it appears that his whining continues on at thecafeteria, about me. Funny, I thought there weren't supposed to be personal attacks at thecafeteria, but that must have been too much for liz to have hoped for. Unless its okay there to make personal attacks as long as the target is an MDB registrant not also registered there.

There, DCP, now the "truth be told" down here at the Trailer Park.

Oh, RayA was not boasting unduly when he claimed to have been the one that made the sock puppet-Nimrod connection. He made the evidentiary case, but I think Stak, Darth and Redefined had, on Chat, already concluded as much.

I don't get it. Wasn't Ray a critic of Mormonism? Is he a defender now?

Why the change Ray? What happened?

This thread does indeed showcase a meltdown of epic proportions.

There is a ton of hostility shown here, far more than that shown by Ray, I'd say.

Sad but true, this place houses a ton of depressing characters. Ah well...I guess that means TBMs like me won't be won over too often if at all. Who wants to join the misery?
Love ya tons,
